June 12 - July 1, 2026 | Boys ages 10-14 |

Woodberry Forest Sports Camp offers boys who love sports a three-week experience full of learning, growth, and nonstop play—no matter their skill level or experience.

Campers thrive in a friendly, supportive environment, guided by coaches and counselors who are passionate about teaching not just the fundamentals of the game, but the values behind it—teamwork, effort, and sportsmanship.

With a balance of daily competitions and personalized instruction, each boy has the opportunity to grow as an athlete and as a person. Whether it’s on the field, the court, or the track, there’s one thing every camper has in common: a love of sports and a desire to get better.

This is the camp for the boy who wants to build character and play sports all day long.

June 13-20, 2026 | Rising 7th, 8th, & 9th graders |

Led by Woodberry’s full-time faculty — Woodberry Compass is where learning meets adventure on our 1,200-acre campus.

This unique camp experience guides boys through hands-on activities that connect them to nature, their peers, and the wider world.

Each day, campers dive into two core experiences:
  • One from the Adventure category
  • One from the Intellect category
Mornings are filled with outdoor exploration—hiking the Perimeter Trail, splashing in the Rapidan River, or scaling the climbing tower.
Afternoons challenge campers’ creativity and critical thinking as they code and pilot drones through obstacle courses, or create video journalism projects, filming and editing their own vlogs to document their camp journey.

Evenings bring everyone together for a Leadership Simulation, where boys step into real-world roles that sometimes align—and sometimes clash. With guidance from faculty and counselors, campers learn the art of collaboration, problem-solving, and leading with purpose.

July 7-10, 2026 | Boys ages 12-16 |

Woodberry Forest School Football Camp is a great opportunity for boys that love playing football or are interested in improving their skill levels as well as knowledge of the game.

The boys will have an opportunity to be coached and learn from our school's football coaching staff with NFL, college and high school playing and coaching experience. The boys will also have access to Woodberry's facilities including grass and turf fields, indoor track and municipal training facility, as well as outdoor pool for cooling off on a hot afternoon.

Our goal as a coaching staff during this camp is to coach and teach the boys football techniques and schemes, as well as facilitate the building of friendships to last for years to come between our campers. Go Tigers!

July 11-15, 2026 | Boys ages 9-16 |

Woodberry Forest Basketball Camp is designed to help each camper grow as a player and as a person. Whether you're new to the game or a seasoned athlete, our goal is to improve your skills, love for the sport, and understanding of teamwork.

Our experienced coaches focus on both offensive and defensive fundamentals, while also emphasizing the core values—like discipline, respect, and perseverance—that lead to success on and off the court.
We create a positive, high-energy environment where players are encouraged to bring their best effort, stay curious, and have fun. With hard work, a great attitude, and a love of learning, every camper will improve.

We welcome boys of all skill levels and look forward to helping them take their game—and their character—to the next level.
