The health and wellbeing of our students is one of our top priorities at Woodberry. If you become ill or injured and require medical attention, you should report to the Memorial Infirmary for assessment by one of our licensed nurses. The infirmary is staffed and open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week while school is in session to provide quality, timely care to every student ranging from a quick band-aid to an overnight stay. When outside medical care is required, infirmary staff can schedule appointments and transportation for students to see a physician from our local partner office or one of many area specialists.
In addition to care available through the infirmary, Woodberry offers mental health counseling and athletic training services. Both our school psychologist and athletic trainers, as well as our head nurse, live on the boys’ boarding school campus and are readily accessible to care for students. All of our healthcare professionals take great pride in the work that they do for our boys and are committed to facilitating open and easy communication among themselves and between the student, his family, and outside medical providers.
