The Tigers took the opening kickoff and marched straight down the field, the drive capped by Ed Reynolds’ first touchdown of the season. Landon answered with a field goal, followed by a long second quarter scoring drive. In the second half, both offenses initially stalled. The Bears blew up a screen pass, and Chase Bakaly returned the resulting interception to take a ten point lead. But, Landon fumbled three times, leading to Woodberry’s 3rd quarter touchdown. Landon went into ball control mode in the fourth quarter, limiting the Tigers to just three possessions; a stout Bear defense would not concede any more points.
