Varsity Football Defeats St. Chris

Woodberry Forest 35, Saint Christopher’s School 13.
    Woodberry Forest played Saint Christopher’s today in Richmond, Virginia. Despite some sunlight at halftime, today’s game was mostly played in constant rain. Woodberry Forest scored first today when Joe Owens intercepted the football and returned the ball ten yards for a touchdown.Woodberry never lost its intial lead, and KG Gaskins led the Tigers to victory by contributing two rushing touchdowns and one passing touchdown to the Tiger effort. Even though Woodberry had a comfortable lead throughout the game, Saint Christopher’s Hawley Martin and Kurt Fleming managed to score two touchdowns. Woodberry Forest advances to 6-1 with only two games remaining in their season.
