Varsity Golf wins 6th annual Disharoon Cup

Woodberry Forest easily defeated St. Paul's (Baltimore) in the 6th annual Disharoon Cup by a score of 20-8. It is the second time the Tigers have won this event, and their first home victory.  Senior Alex Pankoff (Richmond, VA), junior Jim Frazier (Burlington, NC), and first-year players James Walter (Darien, CT) and Christian Dolan (Augusta, GA) all scored three-point wins in their singles matches. Points were awarded for winning each nine holes and for winning the 18 hole match. The Tigers and Crusaders split the four team 18 hole better-ball matches.

Woodberry improves its record to 3-1. The next match for the Tigers is Friday, April 18 at home against Collegiate.
