"Amici has been an easy way for me to participate in making America better. Look around, what we all see politically and otherwise is the result of people who have lost their way and a system that is mired down in corrupt gridlock. Woodberry Forest School promises and delivers substantially better. I have never forgotten the words, "let he who enters this portal dedicate himself to intellectual thoroughness and moral integrity." Do you think we could use a little more of that today? I think an investment in Woodberry is an investment in our own future. Woodberry is a place that still values honors and fosters an environment where that way of living and learning flourishes. We need more leadership that begins with this foundation and Amici helps us find those leaders and sustain a place for our children and grandchildren that stands like a beacon in the night."

"Attending Woodberry Forest was the best decision of my life. I will always cherish the friends and memories I made in my four years. There is something to be said about how close the Woodberry family is; I can always count on my WFS friends to be there for me when I need them. I donate so that the students can continue to share in the rich traditions that brought my friends and me so close. Woodberry made me who I am today and I wish to see it continue to positively influence the lives of young men as it did for me and the Class of 2007. Go Tigers, Beat Everybody!"

"Woodberry Forest School is one of the most outstanding preparatory schools in the country. It excells in academic preparation for college as well as balanced attention to athletics and responsible character building discipline for maturing young men. Woodberry's history, size and reputation all attest to its excellence. In the sixty years since my graduation, I have supported Woodberry with annual gifts, knowing that the gifts will be used effectively and feeling that this is a wonderful way to participate in the continued success of the school and its objectives. The value of education cannot be overstated. Woodberry provided me with the attitude, culture and ability to earn undergraduate and graduate level skills to pursue a career in managing our family textile manufacturing business. I will always be grateful for the influence that WFS has had on my life. I believe that the ongoing support of annual donations can make a difference for the school, its students and its alumni."
