Game Highlights
Despite several impressive defensive plays in the field, Potomac strung together some solid hitting to put up crooked numbers in two innings. The result was a 10–3 loss for the Tigers in seven innings.
Highlights include:
- Henry Sydnor recording all three outs in one inning F7, F7, F7.
- Turning a double play, starting with Henry laying out for a fly ball then popping up to fire to shortstop Eric Fang, who relayed the ball to Wallace McMillan at second base to double up the Potomac runner who had mistakenly thought the ball might fall in.
- Jackson Whitley fielding deep to his right at shortstop and throwing out a runner.
- Eric Fang and Patrick McClain each pitched well, issuing few free passes (walk/hbp)
