Summary
While last Saturday a squad of experienced WFS shooters shot Skeet, this weekend we switched disciplines to Sporting Clays with two full squads competing including all of our new shooters.
Xander Abraham came in 1st in his sub-junior class while Jay Womack came in 2nd.
New shooter Nigel Wolf came in 1st in his sub-junior class with Daniel Murray close behind in 2nd. New shooter Lawson Walker came in 3rd in that division and new shooter Xander Steinle in 4th.
In the Junior division Brian Li came in 1st followed by William Burris in 2nd and Rense McIver in 3rd.
In the Novis division, Bob Li came in 3rd followed by Aidan Wasinger in 5th.
It was certainly a successful coaching day where the team learned so much on a challenging course, performed well, and had a great BBQ lunch.
This Tuesday we will switch disciplines once again and shoot 5 Stand at home at 3PM against an experienced squad from PSC. Representing Woodberry will be Nigel Wolf, Daniel Murray, Brian Li, Xander Abraham, and William Burris. We have eye and ear protection for anyone interested in watching some great targets get dusted in the air!
