Tigers Chew Up Bears

The Bears dominated the first quarter, staging a 15+ play drive that consumed over 9 minutes of clock.  Woodberry responded, scoring on the strength of Ade Oyalowo’s bruising rushes mixed with the precision passing of Alex Hagood.  A Landon fumble just before the half led to a second Tiger touchdown, putting Woodberry ahead for good.  The teams traded punts in the third quarter, forcing the defense to defend a short field – the black shirts were up to the challenge.  Woodberry finished off the Bears when they converted 3rd and 10 on a draw, and then handed the ball to Oyalowo on the next play for the icing 47-yard score.
