On Thursday night in front of a raucous Dick Gym crowd, Woodberry took on St. Anne’s-Belfield School. The game got off to a slow start with both teams struggling to shoot, but the Tigers held a slight 27–25 lead at the half. In the third quarter, WFS found its stride on offense and played even better defense to increase the lead to 11. From there, the Tigers cruised to the victory.  
 
STAB was held to 34% from the field, 21% from three-point range, and forced into 18 turnovers. Woodberry shot 41% from the field, scored 18 points in transition, and won the battle of paint points, 42–20. With the victory, the Tigers improve to 13–2 overall and 4–1 in Prep League play.
