The Tigers dropped their second consecutive game in Richmond on Friday. Playing without their starting point guard, the team showed impressive poise in the first half. A late three-pointer by Collegiate narrowed Woodberry's lead to four at the break, but the Tigers were able to maintain control for three full quarters. However, a difficult fourth quarter with several empty possessions and an inability to wall up defensively allowed the Cougars to pull ahead. A late Tigers rally cut the lead to five, but the comeback ultimately fell short.
