Early Ball

Woodberry welcomed nearly 100 boys back to campus last week for early football, soccer, and cross country practices.
The cross country team took its annual training trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains, while soccer and football took advantage of temporary lights to beat the heat with evening practices.

Varsity Cross Country opens its season with the Ragged Mountain Relay in Charlottesville on Tuesday, August 28. The team will host the WFS Invitational on Saturday, October 6 this year, coinciding with the school’s Fifth and Sixth Form Parents’ Weekend.

Varsity Football has a home scrimmage on Friday, August 24 against Flint Hill School at 4 p.m. After opening the season with three away games, including at Charlotte Latin on Saturday, Sept. 8, the Tigers begin their home schedule by hosting Landon on Saturday, September 22.

Varsity Soccer opens its season with a home game on Saturday, September 1 against Annapolis Area Christian School.
