The varsity golf team defeated Collegiate 147–152 this afternoon at Independence Golf Club. Leading the way for Woodberry and earning medalist honors was Walker Shull with an outstanding round of 34 (-2). Hayes Corcell (36), Henry Cardwell (38), and James Doyle (39) rounded out the scoring. James Gavin (40) and Will Guthrie (42) also participated. The team will be back in action on Friday against Catholic and Georgetown Prep.
