Game Recap

The Tigers traveled to Western Albemarle to face the Warriors on Friday night. Robert Proutt got the start on the mound and pitched well, but some timely hits for the Warriors accompanied by a few untimely errors by the Tigers led to the opponents plating 8 runs on only 4 hits. The Tigers did a good job getting on base but stranded 10 runners, which led to the Warriors pulling this one out 8–4 in a back and forth affair.
  • Maddox Helsley's bat remained hot as he went 2/2 with a double and a triple and also reached with a BB and HBP. Maddox also scored 2 runs and drove in 2.
  • Aaron Long also stayed hot with a 2/3 day that included a triple to RF.
  • Chase Copeland, Everett Robbins, and Charles Maynard all recorded a hit.
