Game Highlights

  • John McKenzie got the start on the mound for the Tigers and looked strong in his first outing, picking up his first varsity win on the bump.
  • Maddox Helsley and Chase Copeland led the Tigers offensively with 2 hits a piece. Maddox reached base 4/5 plate appearances and scored 4 runs on the day. Chase reached 3/4 times and notched 2 doubles and 2 RBI's. 
  • Everett Robbins recorded his first 3-hit game in a Tiger uniform, collecting 3 singles. He also scored a run and had an RBI. 
  • Aaron Long got off to a hot start with a 2/4 day that included a run and an RBI. 
  • Max Sauberg went 1/2 at the plate, walking his other 2 ABs. Max scored and also had an RBI. 
  • Charles Maynard making his first varsity start at 2nd base came up big with a bases-loaded single plating 2 runs. 
Overall this was a big team win with everyone contributing. Solid pitching, good defense, timely hits, and clean baseball allowed the Tigers to get the 13–4 win.
