Game Recap

The Tigers and the Cougars battled on Friday evening, and it came down to the wire. Collegiate jumped out to a 21–15 lead, but the Tigers battled back to cut the lead to one at the half. The game continued to be a back-and-forth affair, but the Cougars pulled ahead by 4 with 2:31 to go. Woodberry turned up the defensive pressure and attacked the basket to win by three.  
 
The Cougars shot 46% from the field and outscored the Tigers, 38–36, in the paint. Woodberry shot 40% from the field, 83% from the FT line (20–24), and outrebounded Collegiate, 39–23. With the win, the Tigers improved to 11–1 on the season and 2–1 in Prep League play.
