Game Recap

On Saturday afternoon, in Dick Gym, Woodberry took on the Melbourne Grammar School from Australia. The Tigers got off to a sluggish start, and the first quarter was a back-and-forth affair.  The game was knotted at 22 before Woodberry got a little breathing room and led 31–24 at the half.  
In the second half, the Tigers used their pressure defense to get out in transition and pull away for the win. All 12 eligible players saw action in the game. Woodberry held Melbourne to 37% from the field, 14% from three, and forced 22 turnovers. The Tigers shot 49% from the field, scored 33 points off turnovers, and had 25 assists on 34 field goals. With the win, WFS improves to 4–0.
