New Trustees Elected

The Woodberry Forest Board of Trustees elected two new trustees at its Spring 2004 meeting, Saturday, May 8. They will take office on November 12, 2004.

Edward I. Weisiger, Jr. '78 lives in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is president and CEO of Carolina Tractor, the Caterpillar dealer for Western North Carolina and upper South Carolina. He is completing his tenure as president of the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce. Ed and his wife Lisa have three daughters.

The Honorable Karen J. Williams is a former parent whose two sons are graduates of Woodberry Forest, Charlie '00 and David '02. Judge Williams is a lawyer, who was in practice with her husband, Charles, until she was appointed as a federal judge to the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit by President George H. W. Bush. The Fourth Circuit Bench sits in Richmond. The Williams family lives in Orangeburg, South Carolina.
