Woodberry Hosts Cross Country Invitational

Teams from over a dozen schools competed in the 40th annual Woodberry Forest Cross Country Invitational on September 19, 2015. The tradition, begun in 1975 by then coach and science teacher David Bloor, brought over 500 harriers to the Forest this year to race on Woodberry's challenging and beautiful course.

Woodberry Forest placed third behind Brentsville District High School and James W. Robinson, Jr. Secondary School. Tiger captain Robert Singleton ’16 finished ninth out of 158 with a time of 17:58.
