Peer Leadership Council Launches

Woodberry Forest School's newly formed Peer Leadership Council officially launched on September 7, 2014, when the competitively selected fifth and sixth formers met the small groups of new boys they will mentor throughout the school year. Peer leaders meet with their groups weekly to discuss ways to adjust to life at Woodberry Forest. New students have an automatic peer group along with access to expert old boys who help them learn more about how to be good roommates, study effectively, serve in the dining room as waiters, plan their time, and manage other boarding school life skills. Small-group break out sessions after Monday's student-led orientation assembly helped new boys get to know their peer leaders.
