Art Department Chair to Exhibit Paintings

Kelly Lonergan, chair of Woodberry Forest School's art department, will exhibit his work in Our Town: Three Painters at the Arts Center in Orange's Morin Gallery in Orange, Virginia. Also exhibited will be the work of local painters Todd Brown and Lee Nixon, Jr.

Kelly Lonergan has a BA from Randolph-Macon College, an MA from the University of Virginia, and an MFA in painting and printmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University. He joined the faculty of Woodberry Forest School in 1995 where he holds the Frances and Baker Duncan ’11 Chair and continues to teach studio art and art history.

An opening reception will be held Thursday, February 6, 2014, 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. The exhibit dates are February 6 – March 29, 2014. Visit The Arts Center in Orange for more information.
