Woodberry Forest Welcomes Trustees of The Duke Endowment

The trustees and staff of The Duke Endowment will meet on the Woodberry Forest School campus on June 2-4, 2013. The Duke Endowment, one of America's largest foundations, is a private philanthropic trust that has given away $3 billion in charitable contributions to educational institutions, child care advocacy causes, health care, and the rural church in North and South Carolina since its founding in 1924 by James B. Duke. Woodberry has had a close association with The Duke Endowment because several Woodberry alumni and parents have served as trustees.
