Psychology Students Observe Child Development

The infants and toddlers who gathered in Anderson 306 on March 26, 2012, may have thought they were enjoying a terrific playdate filled with toys and friends. But Erin Hemming's AP psychology students knew the truth: the children were exhibiting the developmental stages teacher Erin Hemming had been teaching in class. Going beyond textbook explanations of Piaget's theories of child development is easy when so many young children of Woodberry Forest's faculty members live on campus.
