Varsity Football Wins Prep League Championship

In a hard-fought game against the Fork Union Military Academy Blue Devils on Friday, November 4, 2011, the Tigers pulled off a 35-21 win to clinch the Prep League Championship.
Going into the final game of the season with a 7-2 record, Woodberry Forest is preparing to play against Episcopal High School for the 111th time this Saturday, November 12, 2011, at 2:00 in Alexandria. In what is widely known as the oldest high school football rivalry in the South, the Tigers hope to notch another win.

“We are preparing for the challenges this rivalry will present,” remarked head coach Clint Alexander. “It is a special tradition and means so much to both of our schools.”
