International Forum Launches New Year

Woodberry’s International Forum held its first gathering Friday, September 16, 2011, a meet-and-greet that welcomed many new members to both Woodberry and to the Forum. The warm scent of nachos made by Alvaro Martin '14 drew students from around the globe to Mr. Gnanadoss’s home.

The group gathered outside to listen to a formal introduction by the Forum’s leaders Damien Chang '12, Andy Han '13, Wonjoon Jang '12, and Nick Workman '12. After a few words from Mr. Gnanadoss, everyone introduced himself with the traditional "fun fact" and then went inside for pizza and more socializing.

The meeting was a great way to start off the new school year for the International Forum, and we look forward to learning about new cultures and sharing our own during future events.
