Track Competes in 3rd Meet of the year.

The track team competed in their third meet of the year. The team finished fourth in the most competitive meet of the season. The scores were very close and many personal bests were achieved.  The scores were:  Fork Union 72.5, Fauquier 69, Brentsville 67, Woodberry Forest 59.5 and Brooke Point 44.
Of the 15 events our boys scored in 10 of them.

Finishing in First Place:
Jonathan Yellets ran a personal best in the 300m

Finishing in Second Place:
Eric Ways ran a personal best in the 500m.
The 4x400m relay team of Jonathan Yellets, Zach Wiesler, Eric Ways and Captain Tripp Grant.
Mark Petrone a personal best in the shot put.
Isaac Mirchandani a personal best in the pole vault.

Finishing in Third Place:
Captain Buckley Davis with a personal best in the shot put.
Edward Bailey in the high jump.
Isaac Mirchandani with a personal best in the long jump.
4x800m relay team of Eli Exum, Grantham Hagood, Chris Wheelock and Captain Matthew Laws.
4x200m relay team of Hunter Faulconer, Richard Gates, Reid Swearingen and Captain Tripp Grant.

Finishing in Fourth Place:
Joe Geib a personal best in the pole vault.
Hagood Grantham ran a personal best in the 1000m.
Zach Wiesler in the 300m.

Finishing in Fifth Place:
Will Borden with a personal best in the shot put.
Joseph Seo in the pole vault.

This meet was a great preparation for the EHS meet next Tuesday on the road. We are looking forward to a very competitive meet.
