Woodberry Welcomes Rev. Dr. Richard Reifsnyder

Woodberry Forest School welcomed Rev. Dr. Richard Reifsnyder to the pulpit of St. Andrew's Chapel on October 24, 2010. Currently serving as the Senior Minister at First Presybterian Church in Winchester, Virginia, Dr. Reifsnyder shares a longstanding friendship with headmaster Dr. Dennis Campbell: Both are alumni of Duke University and Yale Divinity School. Dr. Reifsnyder took as his text a passage from Philippians in which Paul outlines his "credentials" as a Jew. Speaking to a group preoccupied with building their credentials for the college admissions process, he reminded students that faith transcends all such concerns.
