Match Recap

The Tigers traveled to Charlottesville to face St. Anne's-Belfield at Birdwood GC, home of the UVA Cavalier golf teams. Woodberry cruised to a 138–156 win, its second consecutive underpar match score.

Leading the way for the Tigers were Hayes Corcell and Walker Shull, both firing one underpar rounds of 34. Hayes hit all 9 greens, and Walker overcame a mid-round double bogey.

Closely behind were three other Woodberry golfers with even par rounds of 35: Henry Cardwell, James Gavin, and Hudson Doyle. James Doyle (38) also participated.

The (-2) 9-hole match score ties for the third-lowest in the school's history, last achieved in 2023 at home vs. St. Alban's, and the second-lowest ever in an away match.

The consecutive underpar scores equal the 2025 Tigers' end-of-season results in the Prep League and VISAA championships. Both of those events were 18 holes.
