Tournament Recap
The Tiger wrestling team faced a competitive tournament this weekend in the VISAA. The team placed 12th as a whole, ahead of where we placed last year. The tournament title went to Benedictine.
These wrestlers deserve congratulations for placing within the top 8 of their respective weight classes, earning spots on the podium:
- Marc Greenberg - 4th Place, 165 lbs., All-State
- John Winkler - 4th Place, 126 lbs., All-State
- Logan Swing - 8th Place, 113 lbs., All-State
- Kenzo Ortiz - 8th Place, 215 lbs., All-State
With their 4th-place finishes, John and Marc have punched their tickets to the National Prep Tournament in Lehigh, Pennsylvania.
