On Saturday afternoon, the Tigers hosted the Maroon. It was an intense battle that saw many lead changes in the first half. EHS jumped out to a seven-point lead, but Woodberry battled back to cut it to two. The Tigers went on a run of their own and held a two-point lead at the half. In the third quarter, missed layups and turnovers proved to be the Achilles heel of the Tigers, and the Maroon pushed the lead to 12. Woodberry cut the lead to five, but EHS pulled away for the victory.  
 
EHS shot 46% from the field, 33% from three-point range, and outrebounded the Tigers, 38–32. Woodberry shot 41% from the field, outscored EHS, 38–36 in the paint, and committed 15 turnovers. With the loss, the Tigers fall to 11–2 on the season.
