JV Squash Loses to EHS

The JV squash team took it on the chin today, losing to arch-rival Episcopal High School, 7-2. Hard-earned victories were won by Trey Howard and Isaiah Brown. Isaiah played perhaps his best match of his young Woodberry career, coming back from 2-0 down to win in five games. Trey mounted a more modest comeback, dropping the first game and then winning three straight. But the Maroon’s strength was too much for the Tigers as they dropped only two games in sweeping the top six seeds. The Tigers resume their schedule with their final home match of the year this Tuesday against St. Anne’s – Belfield.
