JV Squash Defeats STAB

For the third consecutive match against St. Anne’s – Belfield, the JV squash team eked out a gritty 5-4 win in Charlottesville. Once again, the Tigers had to rely on depth at the bottom of the ladder as they lost at numbers 1-3 but took five of six matches thereafter. Campbell Hallett won in five long games while Trey Howard, Edward Stewart and Eddie Williams also brought home victories. The clinching match came from Coleman Davidson, who outlasted his talented opponent in five games to give the Tigers the overall victory. Exhibition match victories were also recorded by Whit Hobbs (twice) and David Sloan. The Tigers resume their schedule after long winter weekend with a home match against traditional rival Episcopal High School.
