Swimmers Place 3rd at State


The Tigers finished 3rd overall of out 25 teams in the 2009 VAIS state championships which were held at the Freedom Aquatic Center in Manassas, VA, this past weekend. The team from Woodberry also won the 2009 VAIS Sportsmanship Award. This award was voted on by the coaches from around the state for the team that demonstrated outstanding sportmanship. 

Recent results for Woodberry included a 6th place finish in 2008 and a 9th place finish in 2007. The coaches are very proud of the guys for their continued hard work and improvement.
