Wrestlers Win Christmas Tournament!
Harrisonburg Christmas Tournament Summary
The Varsity Wrestling Team competed in the Harrisonburg Christmas Tournament right before we left for Christmas Break. The Tigers won the tournament for the first time since 1998. The boys fought hard and we placed 12 out of 14 wrestlers in the top 6. Freshman Bobby Burg was the only champion at 130 lbs while Chris Cirenza, Wilson Maclin, and T. Moore Evins placed second. Luke Schwartz fought hard placing 3rd . Overall Woodberry was 1st out of 17 teams consisting mainly of AA and AAA public schools. The Tigers compete next at Orange High School in a Super Quad.
