Frank Wisner '56 Sent to Egypt by President Obama

Frank Wisner, a 1956 Woodberry graduate and a former ambassador to Egypt, was sent by President Obama to meet with Egyptian President Mubarak in hopes that Wisner's longtime relationship with the president could help persuade the Egyptian leader to resign. Read the New York Times story published February 1, 2011.
