JV Squash Loses Tough Match v Mercersburg

The JV squash team lost a tough match to a solid Mercersburg squad, 5-4. In the closely-contested play, there were many highlights. Campbell Hallett carried on the family squash tradition, coming from 2-1 down to win a fifth and final game, 18-16. Seung Paik also fought back from a 2-1 deficit to earn a hard-fought victory. Eddie Williams and Trey Howard each made faster work of their opponents in straight games, but the Tigers couldn’t find that crucial fifth win as Mercersburg escaped with the victory. David Sloan won an exhibition match in the first interscholastic contest of his squash career.
