Varsity Golf Loses 12-Hole Match to Georgetown Prep
The Tigers traveled north to the beautiful (and difficult) Four Streams GC in Bealsville, MD to face a strong Georgetown Prep team. Woodberry came out on the losing end of the 12 hole match, 257 - 266. Denny McCarthy of Georgetown Prep was the medalist with an even par round of 47. Shep Hardison and Bennett duPont were low for Woodberry with 52s (+5).
Woodberry plays St. Paul's of Baltimore on Saturday, April 17 at Caves Valley GC in the annual Disharoon Cup match.
