Woodberry Musicians Preview Winter Concert at Grymes

Every group of musicians benefits from a dress rehearsal, and sixty-five Woodberry students had such an opportunity on Tuesday morning, when they performed material from their upcoming winter concert before an appreciative audience at Grymes Memorial School in Orange. The Wind Ensemble, String Ensemble, Jazz Band, and full orchestra played for the young students, whose grades range from junior kindergarten through eighth grade. Tim Stakem, director of instrumental music, and Will Cole, tutor in strings, conducted the concert.

Woodberry Forest's Winter Concert will take place on Thursday, December 17, at 4:30 p.m. in the Bowman Gray Auditorium.
