Woodberry Holds 119th Graduation Exercises

Clear, sunny skies and pleasant temperatures greeted hundreds of family and friends who converged on Woodberry's lawn in front of the Residence on May 24 for commencement exercises.

Class of 2008 member Wonik Jang delivered a rousing valedictory address. "Woodberry has always been a life-prep school, not a college-prep school," he said. "College is a reward we earned. But it is...our endeavors in classrooms and sweat dropped on athletic fields, that are truly valuable and lasting. Those are the things that make us learn and grow and to be a man. I like excellence and golden trophies, but more importantly, I value improvement and the lessons I learn in the process."
