The Tigers came out hitting hard, jumping to a 10-0 lead in the first quarter behind Ed Reynolds’ running and Josh Call’s blocking. The Episcopal offense couldn’t put anything together until late in the second quarter, when they were stopped on the 1 yard line. However, Woodberry couldn’t advance the ball, and the Maroon put the ball in the end zone with a minute to go in the half. The second half belonged to the Maroon, as they culminated another long drive with a touchdown run. Woodberry got in position for a field goal with 11 minutes remaining, but the Tigers never threatened again.
