Varsity Football Suffers Defeat 24-7 vs St. Albans
St. Albans took a quick first half lead, keeping their offense on the field. Woodberry only had four possessions before halftime, twice pushing across midfield before stalling. The teams traded touchdowns in the second half: St. Albans with a one-play drive on the pass to Thomas Wheet, Woodberry with a sustained all-rushing drive culminating on the Ed Reynolds run. But two St. Albans interceptions, coupled with Francis Brooke’s quarterback sneak for their final score, put the Tigers away.
