Varsity Soccer Gives Undefeated Team a 2-2 Draw

The Tigers battled the undefeated and second-ranked team in the State to a 2-2 draw on the Bulldog’s home field on Homecoming weekend, coming back from a 0-2 halftime deficit to score twice in the final seven minutes of the match on goals by Dennis Schier.  Hunter Otterson made some great saves to keep the scoreline 0-2, and allowed hard and persistent work by his teammates to finally break down Norfolk’s defense.  Cooper Smith had some great runs, Walton Milam some effective free kicks and consistently strong defense, and Charlie Orr made intelligent passes in midfield.
