Junior Bests School's Oldest Track and Field Record

Woodberry Forest School's varsity track and field team won the championship at the VISAA state tournament for the third year in a row on May 16, 2015; no team has accomplished that feat in the roughly fifty-year history of the tournament. And Mikey Davenport ’16, jumping 23' 7.75", beat the eighty-two-year-old school long jump record of 22' 5.5", set in 1933 by Harry Harman, and taking first place in the event by over a foot.
