Stories and Histories Class Visit Virginia Museum of Fine Arts

Members of Paul Brazinski’s third form Stories and Histories class enjoyed a field trip to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts on Monday, Feb. 12.

The boys viewed the VMFA’s collection of ancient and medieval art to complement class readings and add additional source material for their upcoming research papers. They also viewed the museum’s special exhibit on the terracotta army of the first emperor of China. The exhibit marks a rare occasion when Chinese museums have sent some of the famous terracotta soldiers abroad.

The students’ papers will be presented at a public symposium held during the winter term exam week.
