Fourth Formers Enjoy Blue Skies and Leadership Lessons on Expedition

The entire Woodberry Forest School fourth form headed to Wilderness Adventure at Eagle Landing in New Castle, Virginia, on October 14 - 17, 2017, for an outdoor expedition. The program combines camping, backpacking, climbing, spelunking, and other experiential activities that help build bonds and let nature challenge boys.

Nolan LaVoie, Woodberry's director of outdoor education and the trip's organizer, says, "This longstanding tradition has proven to be an amazing experience and opportunity for our sophomore students. It's more than messing around in the woods; many guys tell me how proud they are to have taken part."
