The Talon Receives Recognition

Two major school press associations have recognized Woodberry Forest School's literary arts magazine, The Talon. The Columbia Scholastic Press Association announced winners for the 2017 Gold Circle awards; among them were five Woodberry Forest students. CSPA also chose The Talon 2016 - 2017 as a finalist for its highest award, the 2018 Crown. And the National Scholastic Press Association has chosen two Woodberry students as finalists for its individual convention awards.
