Andrew Jacobs ’18 Earns Runner-Up Spot in VSGA Jr. Match Play Championship

Woodberry Forest golfer Andrew Jacobs ’18 placed second in the 27th Virginia state Golf Association Junior Match Play Championship, held at Spotswood Country Club, June 20-23, 2017. During the match's final day, he found himself playing alongside eventual champion, Mike Brennan, his friend and playing companion since early childhood.  Marc Hogan, Woodberry's head varsity golf coach, was on hand in Harrisonburg as the boys battled for the championship.
