Fourth Formers Host Special Olympics

The fourth-form class hosted three hundred athletes on April 30, 2017, for the Woodberry Forest Sports Festival of Special Olympics Virginia. Alongside several faculty and staff members, the sophomores spent the day facilitating participation in clinics and contests in swimming, tennis, track and field, softball, and golf.

"A big thanks to everyone who helped put smiles on the faces of these visiting athletes," said Henry Heil, Woodberry's assistant dean of students and director of student life. "It was a magical day and a wonderful community effort!"
