Woodberry Forest Players Present Doctor Faustus

Christopher Marlowe's Doctor Faustus opens Tuesday, January 31, 2017, in Woodberry Forest School's Bomb Shelter Experimental Theater. The classic drama concerns a scholar who trades his soul for supernatural powers on earth. Audiences follow the scholar, played by Josh Staufenberg ’18, and Mephastophilis, played by Ethan Barbour ’18, as he conjures demons and ultimately meets his fate.

 
Other cast members include veterans of the Woodberry stage Maxwell Barnes ’17, Andrew Haley ’17, Jonathan Hernandez ’17, Brendan Burke ’17, and James Carrington ’17. RJ Ross ’19 , Beau Hargrove ’19, and Cordelia Hogan ’17 also appear.
