Jo Watts ’00

Sergeant, Virginia National Guard
I served as a Sergeant in the Virginia National Guard from 2001 to 2007. In addition to being deployed to the Virginia Beach area to help mitigate the damage of Hurricane Isabel, we were also deployed to Kuwait and then Iraq from November of 2004 to through December of 2005. I'm currently working as the director of a nonprofit initiative that seeks to help communities reintegrate and show their support for military families.
